Mirror, Mirror On The Wall... Or Gate!

Hi!
So, have you thought about mirrors as accents but  reconsidered?
They can be so boring and hey, they are just mirrors. Done that, Right!
Wrong.
Well, Ashley and I brought them to life in new ways at her wedding.

I have all sorts of shapes and sizes but the oval was just what we were looking for.

We used the oval mirrors as the base for the centerpiece and added beautiful mercury glass vases and filled them with flowers to the brim! Thank you Flower Allie! They reflected the beauty above but were so understated it worked!!

We went a bit farther.... We wanted some sort of welcome as the guests made their way to the back courtyard. So, with the mercury glass fresh in my mind, I thought it would be magical to have a mirror as the welcome accent. The ladies could check their hair without being noticed and the message would be warm and wonderful....
We added Ashley's lovely mini suitcase with fans for the ladies on a lace topped table. A few more crystal vases with flowers and waalaa... a special welcome to their ceremony!

Ashley's grandmother delighted us all with your beautiful penmanship and helped us create a stunning presentation!! Michelle Kunz of Luminaire Images captured the writing beautifully.

Do you have ideas that your just not sure of?
Be brave and experiment. If it doesn't work in one situation, it will in another!
Enjoy!

Ashley and Brian Boothe!!

Hi!
Ashley and Brian Boothe were married at the Jones Victorian Estate on the 30th of June and it was a spectacular day filled with family, friends and lots of love!
On this blog, I mixed the photographs from Luminaire Images and some of my own to show you just some of the fun we had that day!

Here's beautiful Ashley and her lovely Mother, Leslie! They were a blast to work with!

A supportive Bridal party smooths the waters of planning!  They chose well!

Simply Beautiful!

The bouquet really popped with those magenta peonies. Thank you Flower Allie!! All of the flowers were G O R G E O U S!

This is such a lovely shot! You can almost hear what he's whispering!  Her smile tells it all!

And here's the bridal party!!!

The road shot is always so impressive no matter what time of year!! With a beautiful couple like Ashley and Brian, the drive is alive with love.

Brian! The man of the day!!

Ashley's father gave a precious toast that only fathers can give... Great Job Dad!

Ashley and Brian's centerpieces were a gorgeous mix of mercury glass and mirrors....

Silver and Crystal.... and beautiful silver candelabras.

Their guest book table was probably one of my top favorites! Ashley framed about 30 photos of the two of them growing up. They included other family members in those photos that made this display heartwarming and perfect. If you look really closely, on either side of the silverware box that is displaying the Bride and Groom's engagement photo, there are two very special pictures.... proud young Brian with a fish and proud young Ashley with a bigger fish! They were about the same age. Seriously, how precious is that?

This is a beautiful picture of the ceremony through the eyes of the upstairs window.

The Arch was fresh and full and just the perfect backdrop for the ceremony.

Who has such lovely handwriting?

Ashley and Brian had personalized frames for the guests that doubled as their seating assignments. What made this arrangement so special? Ashley's Grandmother penned all the names!
Her artistic handwriting was just the romantic and elegant touch needed to make everyone feel extra special!

Grandma added her decorative touch to the "Welcome" mirror and made this display absolutely gorgeous!

Congratulations Ashley and Brian Boothe!
It was a wonderful day to be a part of !
Thank you both so much!!

Floral Appointments!

Hi!
Wednesday, Brian, Ashley and her Mother all met me at the Flower Allie for our floral appointment and did we have a ball! Now, I can't tell and show you EVERYTHING that we did because it has to be a surprise!
What I can say is; it's going to be very elegant with a sophisticated shimmer!!
Brian, the Groom, came to the floral appointment! I loved having him with us and his input was so valuable. Besides, he handled us so well. hehehe

A quick pose and we're off! Thank you Alison of Flower Allie of Fullerton. We always have a blast
thinking outside the box!
All I can say is that there's crystal, silver, mercury glass and XXXXXX besides the  fun that's  in store!
Thank you for a wonderful morning!!
