Don't forget the Bar!!

Hi!
The bar is a wonderful meeting place for guests as well as a perfect location to let them know you care, and not only just with drinks! Some would say it's the location's job to decorate the bar. Yes and maybe No. Why not have fun with it too!! Look what we did...
We used a large chalkboard on an easel to display the drink menu.  Kari did a wonderful job creating that! We added a vintage "Fresh Squeezed Lemonade" sign, a tall centerpiece (filled with sea shells to bring the "beach" theme to the Estate) and topped it with a beautiful floral arrangement, personalized yellow napkins (eat, drink and be married) and a yellow candy jar filled with assorted flavors of salt water taffy. Who can't resist candy?!!  At the Bar at the Jones Victorian Estate, our old wine cellar is a perfect backdrop for this station! Check it out.
Have fun!
Michelle

Yellow for a beautiful sunny day!!

Hi!
Here are some details of our yellow bouquets, yellow centerpieces, menu card accents and more.
Yellow is just so happy especially when it's teamed up with orchids, calla lilies and sunflowers. GORGEOUS!!
The Chinese Lanterns above the dance floor and the yellow and white arch decoration  created with hydrangea, yellow sunflowers, orchids and daisies make a magical backdrop full of fun!
Love,
Michelle

Something Special for a Flower Girl

For Rachell's wedding, we wanted to do something completely different for the flower girl's hair.  We didn't want a typical head wreath of flowers; instead, we found Jen Zerrer at She Bloom Vintage Style Fashions (www.shebloom.com).  In less then twenty four hours, we ordered and received two custom flower girl head bands decorated with a gerbera daisy.  These headbands were soft and comfortable for the flower girls Hailey (5) and Adeline (2) to wear all day!

Wedding Day Hair

Hi,
For Rachell's wedding day, we discovered Rebecca Gill (Becky) whose talent transformed Rachell (the bride's) hair into an elegant masterpiece.  She also styled the maid of honor and mother of the Bride (me)!  Included in Rachell's hair design were two orchids on either side of Rachell's curly coif.  Becky styled her hair with the flowers in mind and when it was time to place the flowers, the do was complete!
Becky came to the maid of honor's house prepared, organized, and excited to begin!  She offered a pre-wedding day trial for Rachell, in order to help her feel comfortable and design a hair style that reflected her.

Michael at Memories by Michael came before all the guests arrived to shoot the details! I am so glad he did because he caught Rachell and Travis' joy as they first arrived in the Bentley, "the picture of the evening."
