Chinese Lanterns to Jazz it up!

Hi!
I was cleaning out my office/fun zone and I just couldn't resist playing with all the Chinese Lanterns! Seriously, they add color and texture and just plain ole fun to any event. Since we have the old fashioned lighting over the dance floor, what better way to accent them than with a colorful lantern!

We used yellow, green and white lanterns that were just perfect for Rachell's  wedding. It was fun and when the sun set, the colors glowed with color!

Guess What? For those of you that think colorful lanterns are to much and/or they don't really fit your style... how about eyelet lace lanterns!
Oh yeah! Hey, it was a beautiful day and I just love these lanterns.

It's wedding planning season and I'm already having a ball!!

Oh, happy day! Kelly and Joey's Vintage Wedding!

Oh, happy day!

Although the morning began with ominous clouds threatening with rain, thunder, and lightning, a soft breeze guided the thunderclouds away creating a blessed and beautiful sunny day at the Jones Victorian for Kelly and Joey known to friends and family as "Jelly."

When guests arrived, they were directed to the Guest book where an ensemble of vintage items and heirlooms welcomed them. A classic typewriter held a note inviting guests to write words of wisdom and well wishes for the couple on postcards.

For the table decor, Kelly and a good friend designed each table with a vintage mirror, croqueted doily, picture framed chalk board, green and clear bottles, and a mini lavender bouquet. To finish the tables, ivory napkins were tied with raffia and knotted, then topped with a sprig of lavender. The end result: fresh, creative, and beautiful!

Above, Kelly printed the bridal party information on the back of her petite chalkboards to give the centerpieces details from every angle! Below, mason
jars and fresh flowers decorate the sweetheart table atop a green printed overlay.

The wedding. On the entry gates to the wedding, a sign mirrored the design for the ceremony area with a sweet mason jar filled with roses, hydrangea and lavender sweet peas. Michelle and Kelly designed the ceremony area with clear mason jars that hung from chairs on the aisle as well as from picture frames on the arch creating a refreshing design!

Congratulations Kelly and Joey! We wish you a future as bright and beautiful as your wedding day!

Michelle and Erica

Sunset Over the Ocean with Orange and Blue for Laura and Matt!

Sunset over the Ocean!

When Laura and Matt chose their Wedding date, July 24th, they knew they wanted fresh and bright colors to go with their summer wedding.

For the sunset, Laura and Matt chose a warm orange and
accented it with light blue. The blue tone they chose came from the floor length bridesmaid dresses from Alfred Angelo in "pool" blue with sashes in "tealness."

Centerpieces were filled with orange roses, blue hydrangea and accented with dusty miller to make a sunny look.

And don't forget the cake! More chocolate mouse please! Laura and Matt love chocolate mouse, so they chose chocolate mouse for their frosting and filling! YUM!!

For your wedding, try some bold and bright colors like Laura and Matt for a refreshing summer look!

Congratulations Laura and Matt!

Love,

Erica and Michelle

HI!!
I just viewed the blog of micahdahlburgphotography.com and just had to post them. The photographers are such an intricate part of the wedding and finding just the right one is essential.
Megan and Micah are just that!
Rachel and Damian were able to just be themselves and we had the awesome opportunity to witness it!
Here, Micah and Megan took advantage of the Jones Estate's grounds and angles and had a blast! I love the end of the evening shot! Now that's a great picture!

I enjoyed all the planning and tasting and chosing with you two! Much love and
Great job!!
Love,
Michelle
