Happy Valentine's Day!!

HI!

In the lovely spirit of Valentine's day, I thought I'd make something different.... I made this Heart out of old corks! Each cork was tinted naturally by the wine in which it protected. It was so much fun sorting the different colors, from burgundy to pink, as well as the crest or logos from the wineries. I selected the logos that resembled hearts in their  design for an added touch.

Just for the record, I didn't drink all these bottles of wine. I have to admit, the parties at the Jones Victorian Estate are spectacular and filled with love.

So, on this special day for lovers, friends and family, I wish you all a happy Valentine's day.

What happened to Joel Maus of EMP Studios?

I haven't seen him around the Estate lately!

We all miss him!! There is only a handful of photographers that really help make my job easier, he's one of them. He works really well under pressure. He is incredibly talented. He has a wonderful sense of humor! He is fast, fast, fast!

You should see him around the kids! Priceless!

He's one in a million! What a great, great, great, great job he does!!!

Vintage Wine & Garden at the Jones Victorian Estate

Wine me and dine me please in this over the top table design!

California's wine country?

This table has all the elegance and flavor of an upscale wine tasting with a wine cellar backdrop, vintage velvet chairs from the 1890’s mirroring the turn-of-the-century velvet patch-work quilt, and wine inspired centerpiece design.

This Vintage wine table hosts a large wine jug, courtesy of FOUND vintage

rentals, green wine glasses and mini vases, topped with succulents, red

roses, dahlias, and

palm seeds.

For an elegant Vintage wine inspired place setting and napkin design, we utilized the Estate's Prince Albert gold edged plates and placed them atop gold chargers with a burgundy napkin tied with gold twine and a wine cork! And to finish the desing, palm seeds mirroring grapes rested on the gold chargers.

And don't forget about those little details! Adorning the entrance to the Estate's old wine cellar,

a vintage crate and wine jug are decorated with moss, leaves and bottles.
