Hi!

Are you planning a wedding with a homegrown or vintage design theme?

In my mind, it conjures up rich texture, color with dimension, love that's real  and warmth of history all  mixed together into a beautiful package.

So, how would you use these precious love gifts?

Here are a few....

A table overlay!

A special linen for the sweets or cake table!

They may be used for those rumbustious flower girls and ring bearers!

                 I added a few snacks and toys to the quilt and these children were in heaven!

A welcome quilt that proudly displays the love for the day!

                                    Here, I mixed textures with the table linens and it was a big hit!

Quilts are a lovely way to add color and texture to the overall theme without a huge expense. 

They can be a special wall hanging behind the cake table or how about an overlay for the gift table or bridal table! 

Here, the guests signed quilt squares instead of a guest book! So, whether the quilts are for decoration or practical usage, they are a wonderful element to add to any wedding.

It's magical and charming to witness such a hardy transformation so quickly.

Another Nevarez Wedding!!

Hi!

Last week, I met an adorable couple that was looking to be married in October of this year. We had a wonderful meeting and I had an instant connection with them. 

After they left, her last name of "Nevarez" kept spinning in my mind. 

That's right!  I married a distant cousin of hers,  Jennifer Nevarez married Jamie Cox! They were married here at the Jones Victorian Estate some eight years ago!  

I just received the confirmation that Laura Nevarez and Chris Crow will be married at the Jones Victorian Estate on October 26, 2013.

I love my job!

Congratulations Laura and Chris. I look forward to all the planning fun!

Fun with Wine Barrels!

Hi!

Have you seen any of the remarkable uses for the come wine barrel? 

They add character to a bar, a focal point to a dessert station, a surprise to a beer display, an informative touch for a beverage menu, a stunning backdrop for the gift favor jelly jars, and a beautiful accent piece for family photographs!

Whatever your theme, a wine barrel can be wine-y :), vintage, country, rustic, or just plain-ole-fun!

We surprised the guests with a beer filled wine barrel!

This beverage menu and display was a huge hit! 

The jelly jar display was fun and inviting!

We added bunting to the wine barrel for Marysia and Matt's wedding. The bunting added color and play fullness!
