Erin and Greg, A Warm Earthy Design

Hi!

I had the pleasure of working with Erin and Greg to help them create and bring together all of their special ideas. 

Erin found some wonderful accent pieces at her work. Her wooden crates, terra cota vases, and wooden cheese board were just a few items that got us started. 

For her head table, I used small logs and branch clusters with the succulents and flowers. I drilled holes in 2" tall branches for the candles that were so much fun! I love how the burlap helped soften the table. 

Small floral clusters from the florist were the perfect accents that were tucked in between logs and branches. 

Even a lonely succulent looked great on top of a branch grouping.  

Erin was quite the artist with her handy work on the "Mr and Mrs" as well as the table numbers. 

We suspended them from wire and added greenery for a wonderful wooden type chandelier!

The hydrangea, coffee beans, lisianthus, stock and other flowers were a fresh look to the head table. 

I just love how these mini signs turned out. Up high and out of the way, these old boards came alive with love. 

Well done Erin and Greg. I think Greg cut the boards!!

Wedding Pictures of Kari and Haamed!

Kari and Haamed were married at the Jones Victorian Estate on April 28th under a gorgeous sunny day! It was a blast and now I can share a few images of their day! Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your special day! I loved working with you two!!!

Congratulations Kari and Haamed!

Hi!

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting the Wedding and Reception for Kari and Haamed at the Jones Victorian Estate! We worked together to bring all of their special touches to life. I had a ball planning with them!  It was so much fun to see what they found as the planning progressed!

It was no wonder that their day was filled with family and friends and lots of love and fun.



Here is what Haamed's parents wrote me:

"Everyone was pleased with the event and the Jones Victorian Estate! Masood is very hard to please. He was very impressed with you and your planning. We loved it! Too bad we don't have another kid to marry at the Jones."


Kari texted me this morning about how much fun they had.

"I just wanted to thank you for everything - the wedding was everything I could have hoped for and then some. Everything just went perfectly and we've gotten a million compliments from our wedding guests. I hope that you had fun as well! Thank you again!    Kari"

Here's Kari and Haamed's departure with our rose petal exit! A perfect ending to a wonderful day!

Pink, But Look What We Did!

Hi!

Pretty in Pink... it never looked so good. 

Did you ever think of using an old quit for an overlay?

Did you ever think about using your family photos as an inspiration for your overall design?

Did you ever wonder if your little collectibles would enhance a centerpiece?

Did you ever just want something different but with a real homey touch?

Did you ever wonder how you can do it?

Well, I hope your answers to some of these questions are a responding Yes!

I'm here to help!

Look what we did with the help of Alison at Flower Allie of Fullerton and Joel of EMP Photography!

 We actually started this design with the quilt and the family photographs as inspiration.

 We added a pink Tea Pots, pink gloves, pink vases with rich texture...

 Added mini photographs of grandparents,

Added an old pink water pitcher, an old floral pink plate and... 

stacked some of the arrangements on two silverware boxes and added a delicate bouquet with lace and ribbon and waalaa... a masterpiece. Not only beautiful to look at but endearing and interesting for your guests.  Each table was different but all had a wonderful elegant feel that was so unique!

We didn't stop there! We added delicate fine china, vintage napkins wrapped in pink pearls and tucked a rose embossed menu under the napkin!

When flowers are added to the overall design, it becomes fuller and more interesting while being absolutely beautiful!

A Dance That Sizzled!

Hi!

Shanntel and Aaron Hobbensiefken delighted their guests with an amazing first dance! They choreographed it themselves and I had the privilege of watching them rehearse before their Wedding.

We brought in a special checkered board dance floor that helped highlight their incredible routine! It was fun, energetic, playful, endearing and just so well done! Everyone loved it and it was the perfect kick off for the party! They set the bar high that night!

What About the Guests?

Hi!

In most of my postings, there are all sorts of pictures of the Brides and Grooms and their decorations and/or centerpieces! 

Today, I thought about all the guests that we have the pleasure of meeting. Since so many of my Brides ask, "What are the guests doing? Are they okay?" 

I thought I would take this time to post some of the photos I have received from the photographers that actually do show what the guests are doing!!  

What are the guests doing? Are they okay? Yes, the guests are having a ball and they are here to celebrate this spectacular day with you!

From our heart to yours!

Hi!

Our new garden area is officially open! We had our first wedding there and it was soooo beautiful.

Erica and Charles were married amongst the many tall trees, the beautiful assortment of colorful flowers, the green grass of the garden!

Each guest was welcomed to the garden with the heart gate!
