Design Feature: Cake Table or Cake Dresser?

Hi!
So, the next item on the list is cake tasting! Yumm, right? Right!
So, while you are all enjoying cake, let's talk about how you would like the cake displayed!
Would you like a Cake Table?

Or
A Cake Dresser?

I love aprons for the cake cutting because it's just so cute! Aprons make the process that much more playful while being completely practical! No cake on this dress!Even the Groom, Aron, joined in on the fun.
Aprons with deep pockets also doubles as a perfect accessory for the money dance.

Cake Table?  ....

                                                                   Or Cake Dresser?

Another photograph of the apron for cake cutting... special accessory It just makes you smile.

Here at the Jones Victorian Estate, there are lots of options to chose from...
and the cake and dessert display is just one!

Don't forget to bring the fun while planning!

More Photos of Allison and Kyle's Wedding! Yeah!

Hi!

Okay, so I know I have posted a few photos of Allison and Kyle's wedding from September in the past but I found more pictures!!!

It's so much fun to relive the day and these photos make time travel easy!
Enjoy!

Allison's bouquet was dramatic, bold and beautiful with the bridesmaid's bouquets!
Thank you Flower Allie of Fullerton... wow!

For the aisle decoration, we used canning jars filled with flowers and dusted the walkway on both sides of the aisle.

The Ceremony Arch was a beautiful mix of textures with the use of curlie willow, flowers of roses, stock, hydrangea, orchids,  and the crystal strands woven in.

I love the Maid of Honor's expression at the Kiss!

What a great shot! Way to go Allison!

With such a fun Bride and Groom,  their wedding party was up for anything!!

Allison and Kyle... their time together!

I thought this was a lovely shot! The Victorian House in the back drop made them jump off the page!

Ahhh, so sweet! Brandi took this picture at a different angle on the drive. Isn't it funny how just a small adjustment makes the back drop so different!

And... one of my favorites! (I think I said that earlier!) the Rose petal departure!!! Do you see the gentleman on the left with the fist full of petals?

Into the 1952 Bentley for the get-a-way!

The end... so bitter sweet!
Lovely job Brandi! Thank you for the photos!

Andrea and Jason!

Hi!

We wrapped up our wedding season with Andrea and Jason last Saturday.
They were our last wedding of the season and we had a ball!!
Their wedding was a mingling of burlap bunting, lace and lots of fun!

Andrea researched and found all sorts of accents that I was able to implement into her wedding.
Here are just a few...

Love, we all need a little bit more love!

Her gown hanging from the front door! Beautiful!

The burlap and cotton print fabric bunting on the Bride's room doors was a sensational accent
! I love that we included not just one line of bunting but three! Talk about coverage, it was a perfect mix of texture and color for Andrea!

Our vintage cosmetic suitcase double as a card box!

The Cake! With the "Granny" frosting and the adorable bunting on the cake and behind the cake!
Thank you Julie at ABC Cakes for the yummy and beautiful cake.

Andrea made both the cake bunting and the gazebo wall bunting!

She even made all the table numbers, which by the way, I loved. They were big, 8 X 10 frames, and everyone could see them!  They were the  perfect accessory for the tables.
A special Thank you to Flower Allie of Fullerton for the spectacular flowers.

And... the napkin... Navy Blue Linen tied with twine and lace in our "package" fold  design...

Check out what is tucked inside.. A Candied Apple Gift Favor! Oh Yeah!

The photographer said it would be about 8 weeks before I receive her photos! :(
I'll post as soon as I receive them.

Congratulations Andrea and Jason!
It didn't RAIN!!!!

Fresh Squeezed Lemonade!!!

Hi!

In these summer months when the weather is heating up, here at the Jones Victorian Estate we make homemade, fresh squeezed Lemonade to help keep you hydrated! Actually, we make Iced Tea too.

I was reading recently of a man collapsed from heat exhaustion even though he had drank more than 4 large soft drinks!!So, I investigated. This is what I found under the title;
"Soda Soft Drinks Do Not Hydrate Your Body!:

"If you look at any soda label you will note many have phosphoric acid at approximately, 2.8 pH (very acidic) a soda triggers a massive emergency calcium (alkaline) flush to balance the acid. The body is safe at 7.3 pH to 7.4 pH, which means you are putting something into your body that is hundred of thousands of times more acidic that your body is! Diseases flourish in an acidic environment."

The article went on and on, but you get the drift!

The vintage Lemonade Sign adds just the touch to the bar!

So,  don't forget to hydrate and if you happen to be at the Jones Victorian Estate, enjoy a nice, tall glass of fresh squeezed Lemonade!!
Love,
