A Review from the Mother of the Bride! The Jones Victorian Estate (714) 343-1964

Hi!

I received this wonderful review that I thought you would enjoy reading!
A special thank you to Pam Zitny, the Mother of the Bride.

"We would HIGHLY recommend Jones Victorian Estate for any event. The grounds are immaculate, very lush gardens surrounding a picturesque bridge over a small pond and waterfall. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue is. Great background for the photos! We had a slightly different situation in that the bride and groom were out of the country for several months before our wedding but that didn't stop Michelle, the owner and event coordinator. She and the bride communicated very well through email and pinterest. My daughter, the bride, had very unique ideas and Michelle was able to accommodate us in every way. Michelle is a very talented and creative person and she was simply a pleasure to work with. We also had what could have been a catastrophe right before the wedding: Lipstick on wedding gown! No problem - I panicked but Michelle handled it like a pro. It all came out. We absolutely love the way nearly everything is included in the package. It really helps keep the stress level down. Food was gourmet, DJ very professional, and the flowers - Wow! Another very much talked-about item at the wedding. Amazingly beautiful. As for the cake, my daughter had in mind a popular Australian dessert: Sticky Date Pudding, which is really a cake and not a pudding. However, it's virtually unheard of here in the U.S. Michelle had her baker bake it for us twice before the wedding because it wasn't quite what we had in mind. It ended up being perfect and we so appreciated the extra time and work that went into making it that way. All-in-all, it turned out to be a wonderful wedding day and we'll always have great memories of that day. Pam Zitny"

Design Feature: Cake Table or Cake Dresser?

Hi!
So, the next item on the list is cake tasting! Yumm, right? Right!
So, while you are all enjoying cake, let's talk about how you would like the cake displayed!
Would you like a Cake Table?

Or
A Cake Dresser?

I love aprons for the cake cutting because it's just so cute! Aprons make the process that much more playful while being completely practical! No cake on this dress!Even the Groom, Aron, joined in on the fun.
Aprons with deep pockets also doubles as a perfect accessory for the money dance.

Cake Table?  ....

                                                                   Or Cake Dresser?

Another photograph of the apron for cake cutting... special accessory It just makes you smile.

Here at the Jones Victorian Estate, there are lots of options to chose from...
and the cake and dessert display is just one!

Don't forget to bring the fun while planning!
Smiles,
Michelle Gregory

Silver Candelabras .... oh yeah!

Hi!

Are you thinking about centerpieces? How about the grand tradition of silver candelabras?
They bring such elegance to any decoration.

Guess What? We have them! They are all silvery and shinning and beautiful!

Here, Flower Allie provided the huge floral arrangements that went on top and the strings of pearls the hung all around. The candelabras were further accented by beautifully framed table names in silver. Each frame included an explanation of the name. It was a beautiful way to get a glimpse into the lives of the Bride and Groom.

My favorite table was the Mother of the Bride's table; "Sunday Morning". This frame related the story of Sarah sitting at the table, one Sunday morning, talking to her mother about one day marrying Greg. Priceless! Please pass the tissues.

Thank you Jeray and Kim for the photos!
Love,
Michelle

More Options at the Jones Victorian Estate

Hi!

I found these pictures and I had to post them because they are ssssooooooooo beautiful!!!
The closet picture with the Bride's gown is captivating. The gown actually looks like it belongs there! Here at the Estate, our personal service is what sets us apart. We invite all our Bride's to bring their gown early in the week for safe keeping AND on the wedding day, it's here!! The worry about wrinkles and the rush to get to the site are eliminated.
The woodsy photo shows the diversity of the Estate. Here at the Jones Victorian Estate, we take the time for these special moments.
What about the cake? Her colors of orange, yellow and green popped and were so beautiful. The cake was delicious! How about that Orange Zest Cake with Orange Creme Filling? Seconds, please!

Planning with a Touch of Sunshine- Jones Victorian Estate

Hi!
Laura and Matt came out to California to start their wedding planning for their July event at the Jones Victorian Estate. In only one weekend, we tasted a wide variety of cake flavors and mixed and matched fillings to create their personalized wedding cake. We met and discussed all sorts of ideas and design touches that made selecting the floral accents a walk in the park. They were able to decide on all the bouquets, arch decoration and the centerpieces. Our florist, the amazing Flower Allie, helped us pull together our ideas of Orange and Blue. With these strikingly beautiful Orange Roses and Calla Lillies with the ever gorgeous and classical blue hydrangea, we were able to make her ideas a reality with breathtaking beauty!
The weekend came to a close with the selection of their dinner menu complimented with details on menu cards, napkin color with special folds and gift favor ideas. What a wonderful weekend.
Thank you Matt and Laura! I enjoyed planning with you! I can hardly wait to see it all come together!
Whatever your color scheme; be bold, be dazzling, be you and have fun! The fun never runs out at the Jones Victorian Estate, the unique, private and Orange County venue!!!
Love,
Michelle

The little details that matter...Jones Victorian Estate!

HI!

I just want to say for the record, the little details do matter. They make a stunning difference to any table decoration or wedding! Here are a few ideas for you that I think are wonderful and affordable!!!

For her summer wedding, Rachell didn't miss a lick. She supplied her guests with colorful programs (with pictures of the Bride and Groom!), fans and sunscreen packets! In another basket, she filled it full of colorful parasols! She had painted a sign for a personal touch!

Sometimes, the little details are forgotten or discarded for lack of time or money. Think about them again.

At the bar, Rachell included a yellow (her colors) jar filled with an assortment of Salt Water Taffy, a vintage "Lemonade" sign and a chalkboard with the bar menu! All these little details set her bar apart from the others with very little effort.

Where do you find a guest book? Don't! Make one. Here, Rachell made a scrapbook and the guests picked their page to sign and write a well wish. It's beautiful and a wonderful way to capture those extra pictures you have in that box. (hehe) She found a book with extra pages and had a ball!

Here is my suggestion to you: Make yourself a board or page of little details that appeal to you. Cut out pictures and make your own collage! Take into consideration all sorts of textures (fabrics, feathers, containers and etc), styles (vintage or new wave, etc) and mix it with your colors (all different shades) for fun! See how your creative juices flow even if you don't think you are creative. It will definitely surprise you. This is the best way to begin your planning and you won't have to try to remember what and where that picture you saw in one of the magazines looked like!!!
I'm here for you at the Jones Victorian Estate!!
Love,
Michelle

An outside venue at the Jones Victorian Estate

Hi!
The Jones Victorian Estate is just what you are looking for but MORE!!
Lindsay and Justin's pictures are in from Katharine Rose Photography and Design. She
sent me a few I thought you'd like to see!!
Katharine took advantage of our entrance road of the Estate (this is always a huge favorite - kind of like... the road to your future!) as well as the swing in the grassy knoll (who can't resist a bit of quiet time together), interior picture (the Estate offers more backdrops that enable the photographers to show their creativity), wedding ceremony (her colors have such pop!) and bouquet details. ( up close and so pretty)
Lindsay chose all the vibrant colors to blend refreshingly with her Bridesmaid's gowns of red.
The mix of color was a welcome accent to the Estate's backdrop.
Call us today for your one-of-a-kind venue that reflects your style!!
Love,
Michelle
