Hi!
We are hosting a military wedding for Tiffany Brader and Peter Laramie on March 23rd!
It's going to be a wonderful event and all my vendors are helping too!
So, I ventured out of my comfort zone for them and painted a sign! Yes, that's right. It turned out wonderfully. Check it out...
"Happily Ever After Starts Here!" After I painted it in black, I then added silver to accent the letters. I thought dots would be cute so I added them too. (not shown in this picture)
Now that I have a bit of confidence, I think I'll try my hand at two more!
What's your dream? Let's get together!!
Love,
Michelle Gregory

Vanity Mirrors!
Hi!
Do you enjoy the romance and delicacy of anything vintage?
How about Vanity Mirrors?
They are very reasonably priced, from $5.00 to $30.00! They can be found a your local thrift store, flea market, antique store or antique swap meet. They are all unique and a beautiful piece to start with.
Kelly and her friend loved the look of the vanity mirrors and she decided to incorporate them in her wedding. This is how an idea starts!
What do you love?
She had a blast finding all sorts of different vanity mirrors. We then teamed them up with a vintage frame, some old and new bottles and lace doilies. I have an abundance of dried lavender so we made little bouquets for each mirror.
Here is the happy Kelly with all the trays, frames with chalk boards and bottles for each arrangement.
From there, she had the table numbers professional "chalked," and we added flowers to the vases.
I have never liked the back of table number frames! So, I came up with an idea to add a card the size of the frame that detailed Kelly's bridal party and some fun facts about them. In that way, no matter where a guest sits, it looks good and finished!!
The little lavender bouquet was just what Kelly wanted... a delicate addition.
The flowers were simple but elegant and each table hosted an assortment vintage bottles.
I love the combination of three vases; small, medium and tall, and a mix of color too!
Since her colors were green and light lavender, the green bottles just added to the fun of the overall design!
Here's Kelly and her girls!
This very vintage and unique centerpiece was a huge hit that everyone enjoyed.
In fact, all the ladies wanted to take the trays home!
What do you think? The mirrors are a beautiful base for any centerpiece. The delicate metal designs and the shape of the trays make them a great starter piece!
You can add your own touches and make it completely different!!
Do you need some help with designing?
Let's have some fun!!

A Special Thank You!
HI!
I met with the new Mr and Dr. Marysia and Matt Boeckman the other day and they brought me a lovely photo for my desk and a wonderful thank you note. The note means so much to me.
I'm not going to post the whole note, but I must post this...
"Michelle-
We are so blessed to have found you the beautiful Jones Victorian Estate for our wedding celebration!
We couldn't have found a more perfect place as the location, timing, ambiance, inviting staff and your professionalism were exactly what we were looking for in our reception venue. Michelle, you made wedding planning so enjoyable and sparked even more creativity out of me than I thought possible. Then the big day came and I knew I would be (and was) so stress-free and relaxed because you would take care of every detail. You really were more than we asked for! I've heard so many of our guests say that the Jones Estate was so beautiful and the reception was the best they had been to! So kudos to you for making our dream day come to life."
I am humbled and so thankful!

Windows, Windows, Windows!
Hi!
Well for a wonderful early Christmas gift to myself (hehe), I found these beautiful wood sash windows!
Nope, I'm not using them for replacement but rather for Art!
I just love them so you will see them popping up all over the Estate with special messages and colorful artwork. I can hardly wait to start!
1 small, 4 medium and 8 large....
The small one turned into a "ho ho ho!" window on the front porch!
This window became the special welcome for all who passed by...
"May Your Days Be Merry and Bright!"
So let me say to you,
May your days be merry and marry and bright!
Love,

Flea Market in Orange!
Hi!
It's Flea Market Saturday in Orange this week! It's downtown Orange just off Chapman Avenue and Almond! I have found so many treasures here while walking my dog and eating a delicious, freshly made tamale. It's incredibly smaller than the Long Beach Antique Flea Market so you can just relax and enjoy a wonderful outing! Great for Christmas shopping!!!
I'll see you there!

Infused Vodka!!! Wowowowowow!
Hi!
One of my favorite aspects of Christmas is making gifts and thinking of the special packaging that makes gift giving so much fun!
This year my sister, Sue, told me about infused Vodka...
With Skittles!!!
Check out these bright and mouthwatering flavors!!!
Since I love Hot Tamales Candy, we even thought that would be delicious with a kick! The vodka changes color with the candy and it's sweetened so it's ready to enjoy!
This year, I made Limoncello!
It's pretty and this liqueur is served chilled after the meal, "digestivo."
I thought what a great post because if you are thinking of a special, special Signature Drink,
wouldn't infused Vodka be a hoot?
And then, we can talk about how it's presented!!
What's on your Christmas list?

A Wonderful Photo Shoot with the Spada Family!!!
Hi!
When a Wedding and Reception is over and the Bride and Groom are whisked away, for me it is bittersweet. In that moment I relive the fun of the months of planning, the expectation of the day, and the excitement of their commitment and celebration!
Luckily for me, some of my Bride and Grooms return. Whether its attending a friends or relatives wedding, an anniversary stop by or a photo shoot, it gives me the opportunity to see them once again!
One of my favorite aspects of my job is when one of my Bride and Grooms come back to celebrate their Wedding Anniversary...
But a close second is when they come back with their family!!
Meet Ralph and Patti Spada! They were married 8 1/2 years ago and just a couple of weeks ago, they came back with their family to take some wonderful family/holiday pictures.
I loved having them and I simply love the "Then and Now" pictures!!!
Thank you so much Ralph and Patti! Please come back again!!

A Specialty Drink!
Hi!
Are you thinking about serving your guests a Specialty Drink that sets your event apart?
Allison and Kyle did and we had a blast!
Allison found a delicious recipe and nick-named it the "Ruber Relaxer!"
Allison and her Mother, Mary, were on a quest to find just the right menu board to display their beverage choices. They found this clever old door with windows! They added the process to create a chalk board on the windows!
A back support was added and presto!
The Bar Menu was a hit!
I wrapped the canning jars in old lace and topped it with a pearl and silver button.
The beverage presentation was complete served over ice with a pretty grey striped old fashion straw!
The Ruby Relaxer was a great accent to their beautiful color pallet!
What's your dream?

A Night View!
Hi!
Brandi Barr Photography sent me over this enchanting photo capturing the Jones Victorian Estate just at dusk: The old time street lights are all aglow. The chandelier above the sweetheart table eliminating their special seating below. The blue-blue of the sky in contrast to the white-white of the Victorian House and tables.
It's just lovely.
Thank you so much Brandi!
Well done!
