It's 2013 and It's Going To Be A Great Year!

Hi!

We are hosting a military wedding for Tiffany Brader and Peter Laramie on March  23rd!
It's going to be a wonderful event and all my vendors are helping too!

So, I ventured out of my comfort zone for them and painted a sign! Yes, that's right. It turned out wonderfully. Check it out...

"Happily Ever After Starts Here!"  After I painted it in black, I then added  silver to accent  the letters. I thought dots would be cute so I added them too. (not shown in this picture)

Now that I have a bit of confidence, I think I'll try my hand at two more!

What's your dream? Let's get together!!

Silver Candelobras...Wow!!

Hi!
The elegance of silver candelabras! Wow. Ashley and Ron took one look at our candelabras and it was love at first site!
To make it even better, we mixed the silver candelabras with low silver pedestal dished that matched the tall candelabra bases.
The result?
Aaaamazing!
Thank you Flower Allie for the beautiful flowers!

The satin eggplant overlays were a perfect match and an elegant touch to the tables!
What is your theme?
What is your Color?
What are you thinking?
Need help?

I'm here for you!!

Andrea and Jason!

Hi!

We wrapped up our wedding season with Andrea and Jason last Saturday.
They were our last wedding of the season and we had a ball!!
Their wedding was a mingling of burlap bunting, lace and lots of fun!

Andrea researched and found all sorts of accents that I was able to implement into her wedding.
Here are just a few...

Love, we all need a little bit more love!

Her gown hanging from the front door! Beautiful!

The burlap and cotton print fabric bunting on the Bride's room doors was a sensational accent
! I love that we included not just one line of bunting but three! Talk about coverage, it was a perfect mix of texture and color for Andrea!

Our vintage cosmetic suitcase double as a card box!

The Cake! With the "Granny" frosting and the adorable bunting on the cake and behind the cake!
Thank you Julie at ABC Cakes for the yummy and beautiful cake.

Andrea made both the cake bunting and the gazebo wall bunting!

She even made all the table numbers, which by the way, I loved. They were big, 8 X 10 frames, and everyone could see them!  They were the  perfect accessory for the tables.
A special Thank you to Flower Allie of Fullerton for the spectacular flowers.

And... the napkin... Navy Blue Linen tied with twine and lace in our "package" fold  design...

Check out what is tucked inside.. A Candied Apple Gift Favor! Oh Yeah!

The photographer said it would be about 8 weeks before I receive her photos! :(
I'll post as soon as I receive them.

Congratulations Andrea and Jason!
It didn't RAIN!!!!

Engagement Shoot for Brandi and Josh!!!

Hi!

Yesterday was such a gorgeous day and we took advantage of our good luck by having Brandi and Josh take their engagement pictures. There are so many reasons to take your engagement pictures at the Jones Victorian Estate, here are just a few!!

1) Your photographer gets the "lay of the land" so to speak. He's able to check out all the different
locations that he can't possibly get during the wedding and reception.
2) You and your finance have the Bride's room and Groom's room for your change of outfits!
3)  You and your photographer get to know each other better at the same location of your wedding!
(He can't get lost or be late!)
4) As a couple, the more you visit the Estate, the more at home you'll feel!

Here, Brandi was in a white lace dress accented with Red boots and belt and Josh in his red plaid shirt!! Perfect for the rustic shots! Wait until you see her sequined dress and  Josh in his tie at the sunset shots!!

Brandi and Josh had pictures out in the "meadow", up on the hill over looking the city and in the palm farm where the trees line up like sentries. They walked all over and climbed - Brandi in heels!! I was able to see a couple of quick pictures from their photographer and they are INCREDIBLE!!  Here's what I took it with my camera phone!!! Geez! I can hardly wait to post the "REAL" ones!!

Have a lovely holiday!!

Elegance, beauty it's all here... the Jones Victorian Estate

Hi!

I just received an email with lots and lots and lots of photographs from Erika and Michael Hauser's wedding. AND they are amazing! Brandi of BrandiBarrPhotography captured their joy and fun while highlighting the elegance and beauty of their day. Join me...

                                                                 OPPS...

Somehow I loaded these backwards.... Here's our famous rose petals exit!!! The end has to be a joyous affair to match the day. Don't forget this detail!
They danced under the lights and had a ball. We added colorful Chinese lanterns for an added accent.
Here, we had a group shot! A perfect choice for their album!! Squeeze in everyone and look here!!!
Erika and Michael took private moment on the back bridge with the waterfall flowing underneath!
Is this the cutest picture EVER? I love, love, love it!! They were just announced and we were all cheering and clapping in celebration.
Erika and Michael at the gorgeous Arch and perfect backdrop for their ceremony. Father Ara is behind them. He is  short but his ceremonies pack a big punch of love, honor and commitment!

The vows are next! Father Ara has the good ones!!

A beautiful backdrop for Erika's lovely gown and beautiful flowers. Can you see the light hue of blush and the delicate jewels? A perfect gown for Erika!

Well done Brandi!! Thank you so much for all the photos. I have lots more to come.
Make your day the best it can be, enjoy it to the fullest!
Congratulations to Erika and Michael Hauser.

Michelle Gregory

Let's Talk Napkins at the Jones Victorian Estate!

Hi!

I wonder how much thought the napkin treatment actually gets in all the wedding planning? It's simple enough but most of the time, it's over looked. It's an easy way to bring in more color to the table. It can include a wonderful treat for each guest as they take their seat. It may include a menu, a program or a thoughtful quote. What ever you do, don't forget the napkin!

I'm posting this simple detail because Jen of Jen K Flowers was amazed at the care and detail of our napkins this Saturday. We folded Candice's napkins using yellow and green, to give it a striped effect of color and then wrapped it with a polka dot ribbon. I thought...hmmm...We do this all the time. I should share this!!

So, in an effort to make easier, here are a variety of fun napkin designs that we have done here. (I have lots and lots!) AND guess what? We DON'T charge the $3.50 per napkin fee like other sites. It's part of the planning and it's included but most importantly, it's a fun detail that you don't have to do! How about that?!

Love and fun planning!!
Michelle

Here, we added a pretty jewel to the knotted napkin!
How about adding a treat for each guest!
How about a satin napkin with a pretty menu with a bow?
How about adding a ribbon to your napkin and menu and top it with a fresh mini rose!

We tied this napkin with twine and added fresh rosemary for her woodsy theme.
