Hi!
I just had to publish this post  of an email I just recieved today, because it made me smile! I emailed her back right away to come and visit!! Why wait for your daughter to be married! You can visit today!
It's these precious things in life that make life worth living.

"Hello. I just wanted to say that I got married at The Jones
Victorian Estate almost 20 years ago. My wedding date was August 22, 1992.
I loved this place and Michelle who did my wedding. It is really nice to
see that after 20 years couples are still enjoying this place. Maybe when
my daughter gets married we will come back!"

Sping Time at the Jones!

Hi!
It's May 1st and finally the wild mustard plants are in full bloom!
With the lack of rain, these precious plants had a slow start. Now, the fields are full and beautiful and waiting to be admired!!

Up close, these blooms are an explosion of color. They are soft and resilient! Their bright yellow petals dot the fields in magnificent beauty! They will be here for awhile and you can bet, I'm going to be
posting more fabulous photographs with my Bride and Grooms!!

Here is the beautiful Stacy! The backdrop for her photograph is breathtakingly
gorgeous!  Thank you Jeray and Kim Photography for the picture.
Where are you getting married? The Jones Victorian Estate is not only a perfect venue but a perfect venue with lots and lots and lots of locations to enjoy!

Vintage Printable Labels AND they are Free!!

Hi!

I found this website yesterday for vintage labels that I just had to share! And guess what? They are FREE and printable!! The designs are so adorable!!

They are perfect for Christmas Tags, Labels for Homemade Jelly or Jam, tags for Wedding gift favors  AND  I thought they'd be perfect for seating cards for any Wedding Reception! Forget the "Made in China" tags and make your own. It's easy, just pick and print!
Pretty fun, huh? I love these!!

Here's the link: http://blog.worldlabel.com/free-printable-labels-gallery.

These labels add so much charm and decoration! I used one of the labels for my "Soothing Bath Wafers" Jar.  I then reduced the size of the artwork and created a tag. This tag includes the recipients name and instructions for the wafers!

Have a great day!!

The Picture of Your Gown!

Hi!
There are so many locations for those special photos of you and your Groom, here at the Jones Victorian Estate.
There's one detail that is fun that I don't want you to forget. So please, add this to your photographers list of "must haves!"
Photographs of your Gown!!
Talk with your photographer and see what she or he has in mind. Remember,  you also need a special hanger. Padded Satin hangers are my favorite!
It's all in the presentation and this simple, little detail will matter later.
I thought you'd like to see where some of the photographers have hung the Gowns here!!

This Gown is hanging in our Bride's room's closet! The closet is hand painted with vintage accessories, included  shoes with real jewels! This shot is  one of my favorites! Well done Renee!

Here, Michael of memoriesbymichael.com hung Denise's gown on a tree in the front courtyard and added her boots in the shot! The contrast is striking!
Erika's Gown was hung from the Estate's front door! (Another one of my favorites!) We teamed the Gown with the bridal bouquets for a beautiful vintage keepsake!

Kim and Jeray took this picture with the Vienna Gates in the background. The black scroll work on the gates accented the scroll work on the gown!

Megan and Micah took this picture of Rachel's Gown from a high branch at the entrance of the property with the Vienna Gates open. Behind the Gown, the road to their future awaits!

This photograph was another one by Memeoriesbymichael.com that I love.  I posted it because the gown   hung in the background has such softness and adds another dimension to  Denise's boots, her bridal bouquet and one of her tags (There was a special hand written quote on each tag  for all the guests).

This is the same gown as above but this photograph is in color and shot from a straight on location. I still love it.

It's so much fun walking each Bride into her room on the day of the wedding. Here at the Estate, we allow the Brides to bring their gown (sometimes I pick it up!), their accessories, gift favors, toasting glasses and etc, the week of the wedding rather than the day of the wedding. In that way, when she arrives everything is here and organized for her! The expression of seeing  her gown hanging in the closet  ready for her day is priceless! It's those moments that set the stage for the rest of the afternoon!

Enjoy your day with us  at the Jones Victorian Estate.

Your Style! Help when you need it!

Hi!

What is your style? The magazines are asking! The Bridal shops are asking! Your friends and family are asking! There are a myriad of answers but sometimes that simple question will send Brides panicking.

What is the solution? Easy! If you can't pin point your style, it will evolve! How, you ask?
It's what you like best. It's what makes you feel good. It's what puts a smile on your face when you think of it. It can be a lot of different things or just one.

My job is to help you find that answer and enjoy the process. Maybe you don't want a home-spun feel. Maybe you don't like to "make" things. Maybe you like simple lines and simple designs. Maybe you love all the ideas you see but don't know how to go about getting it or finding it.

To begin with, I ask all my Brides to make their planning binder. (I would rather than put one together instead of purchasing an organizer because it is so much less stressful) With the different labels for the different aspects of the Wedding, each Bride can freely collect everything that they enjoy or attracted to without sensor. Let me repeat that... without sensor. It's fun! Flower pictures, cake pictures, color wheels or samples, dining room set ups, gardening photos, lipstick color, it doesn't matter... all of it. Any of it.

When we get together, we bring out all the pictures and that's when the magic begins. Your style emerges! I'm there to help pull it all together and if you like, add special touches to make it even better... to make it you. Be Bold.

Let's plan together~

Pamela and Wei Liu

Greetings from Pamela and Wei!

I had the pleasure of assisting Pamela and Wei plan their wedding at the Jones Victorian Estate about three months ago. They were so thoughtful to share a few pictures from their wedding!

Together, we planned an afternoon, garden wedding with sweet pink and green accents, as you can see from her beautfiul boquet of blushing, pink roses and peonies. To satisfy their guests' sweet tooths, they chose Croquembouche with bavarian and strawberry cream topped with Kiwi sauce to complement the theme of their wedding.

Here is a note from them:

"Hope you enjoy the pictures!! Again, tons of appreciation from Wei & I for your assitance of our wedding!! You're the best!

Best regards,
Pamela & Wei"

Thank you Pamela and Wei! I had so much fun getting to know you both. Thank you for enabling me to take part in your beautiful wedding!

Love and Smiles,

Michelle
